In summary: Invoice Maker & Quotation Generator is an offline-first utility that stores 100% of your business data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal or financial data with any external servers.

2. Information Collection and Use

A. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

When using the app, you may input business and financial records, including:

• Business Profile: Business name, owner name, contact email, phone number, physical address, Tax ID/VAT number, and custom payment instructions.
• Client / Customer Details: Customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing addresses, and shipping addresses.
• Item & Service Catalog: Item names, descriptions, unit rates, and pricing units.
• Invoices & Quotations: Itemized line items, discount amounts, tax rates, shipping/extra charges, issue dates, due dates, and payment history.
• Business Logo: Custom image chosen by you from your device gallery.

All of the above information is stored exclusively in your device’s local database (Room Database & DataStore Preferences). It never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share a generated PDF document.

B. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do NOT require user registration, login, or accounts.
• We do NOT upload your business records or client lists to any remote server or cloud storage.
• We do NOT collect financial credentials, credit/debit card numbers, or bank account passwords.
• We do NOT use tracking cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party advertising SDKs.
• We do NOT track your GPS location.

3. Device Permissions & Why We Need Them

The application requests only minimal, necessary permissions required to provide core offline functionality:

• Storage / Media Access (Read Images): Allows you to pick a custom company logo from your device photo library to display on your invoices and PDF exports. The app only accesses the specific image you select.
• File Sharing via Android FileProvider: Allows you to export, preview, and share generated PDF documents via third-party apps (e.g., WhatsApp, Gmail, Google Drive). Temporary, read-only URI permissions are granted strictly to the target application you choose in the Android Sharesheet.

4. PDF Generation & Document Sharing

All PDF invoices and quotation documents are generated locally on your device using Android’s native graphics engine (android.graphics.pdf.PdfDocument).

• Generated PDFs are stored in your application’s secure private directory.
• When you use the “Share” feature, the file is shared directly from your device to the application you select. We do not intercept, store, or monitor any shared files.

5. Third-Party Services

Invoice Maker & Quotation Generator operates completely offline and does not integrate with:

• Third-party analytics providers (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel)
• Third-party advertising networks (e.g., AdMob, Unity Ads)
• Cloud synchronisation services or external APIs

6. Data Security & User Control

Because all data is stored locally on your device:

• Security: Your data is protected by your device’s built-in operating system security, encryption, and app sandboxing mechanisms.
• Data Deletion & Retention: You have complete control over your data. You can edit or delete customers, items, invoices, and quotations at any time from within the app. Uninstalling the application or clearing app storage in Android Settings will permanently remove all stored local data.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our application is intended for business owners, freelancers, and general commercial use. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect feature enhancements or regulatory changes. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
